Kim Delaney Kim Delaney was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She began her modeling career while in high school, and moved to New York after graduation to study acting with Bill Esper. She earned her first role playing Jenny Gardner in "All My Children." She has received numerous award nominations, even winning an Emmy for her role in "NYPD Blue."
