Mila Kunis Model Mila Kunis was born and raised in the Ukraine. Her father Mark, a mechanical engineer, and mother Elvira, a physics teacher, moved the family from Russia to the United States when Kunis was just seven years old. Mila quickly picked up English and started attending school. She was interested in acting, so her parents enrolled the youngster in acting classes at the prestigious Beverly Hills Studio.
